Internationally acclaimed management cartoonist and strategic thinker Prriya Raj is an MBA with over 24 years of rich and varied corporate experience. He packs layers of meaning in his cartoons full of wit, humour and satire to bring a smile to corporate executives. Grounded in reality these cartoons also expose business games and corporate shortcomings in a style that's very much his own.
NEWSPAPER COLUMNS
- Prriya Raj's first cartoon appeared in Parag, a Times of India publication in June 1975 and then in a variety of publications in Hindi and English, while he was in college. After completing his MBA, he joined the corporate world and cartooning took a back seat. After a gap of 20 long years, he started a daily news cartoon column 'Counterpoint' in The Daily. The column subsequently ran in The Free Press Journal from 2000-2003.
- In 1996, he started India's first daily management cartoon 'Under The Pyramid' in The Pioneer. The column was picked up by Hong Kong Standard to make Prriya Raj India's first cartoonist to have a daily published cartoon column abroad (1997-2000).
- He continued the daily cartoon column 'Under The Pyramid' as a management catoon column in The Financial Express. (1999-2001).
- His weekly management cartoon column 'Out Of The Box' appeared in The Hindu in its business review section from 1999-2003.

- Did a column for A & M, a magazine on advertising and marketing 2000-2001.
- Currently doing a column for 'Harmony', a new magazine for senior citizens by Dhirubhai Ambani Trust.

EXHIBITION
Organised India's first management cartoon exhibition titled 'Under The Pyramid' at Nehru Centre, Mumbai during February 1999. The exhibition, which drew excellent response, was co-sponsored by The Asian Age, The Afternoon, Business India, CNBC, India World, Aaren, etc.
Did a monsoon cartoon series at Samovar Restaurant, Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai during 1998.
Exhibited cartoons at British Council, Mumbai during their Management Week in 1999, 2000 and 2002.
INTERNET
- He was the second Indian cartoonist on the web, first being RK Laxman. He was also the first one to have a daily cartoon on the internet at India World. His website was India's first cartoon website and had won several awards and accolades including nominations for best humour site in Webwiz Awards 2000.
- Prriya Raj also launched a comprehensive cartoon channel on www.123india.com (first such on a horizontal portal) during the year 2000, which was inaugurated by the lateral thinking guru Dr. Edward de Bono.
